David Szeto is a Canadian in Paris. In fact he has been here for more than a decade. His clothes fly out of the shops. Since he does not do shows. David Szeto is one of those designers who comes along at just the right moment in history and makes an important impact on fashion. His Fall 2005/Winter 2006 collection, which is filled with an understated form of pure elegance, has been driving the buyers mad with enthusiasm.

David Szeto, the quintessential perfectionist, spent an entire year perfecting the pattern for one black skirt in this collection. This perfectionism came from the fact that Szeto began in fashion by working exclusively with his own private clientele. David Szeto has been supplying bespoke stores in the usa for 18 years.

Those experiences allowed him to fine-tune his craft, and most particularly as he works with women of different forms such as short and large women. “I do clothes for women to wear, said the designer.”

David Szeto work ethic and intimate sells strategy has paid off in a most honourable way. His clientele stretches from California to Hong Kong. This collection can be purchased in such hallmark boutiques and department stores as Lane Crawford (Hong Kong), Les Galeries Lafayette (Paris), Linda Dresner (Birmingham, UK), Blake (Chicago) and Maxfield’s (California).
